A web technology advocate and designer since 1994, David has led innovation and development in web sites in several capacities. He created the web development department for a Wall Street broker/dealer and created a successful intranet from scratch. He also founded two still successful internet service providers.

Other than intranets, which are not available for public viewing, David has designed many successful web sites, including www.greendolphinpress.com, www.carpelibris.com, www.typophiles.org, and numerous sites which are available only through the WayBack machine.

Far more than just usability design, Information Architecture is the process of organizing and presenting information in a web site in a meaningful, understandable, and helpful manner. "All other design aspects - form, function, metaphor, navigation, interface, interaction, visual, and information systems - build upon the groundwork of information architecture." [Addwise] Developing the Information Architecture of a web site is the first step of its design.

Fluent in Cold Fusion, perl, java, and many other enabling technologies, David can create web solutions for virtually any business requirement.

Using David's propietary "Web Presence Diagnostic" methodology, he can evaluate a web site's current effectiveness and then make specific recommendations to attract and keep the readers that fit the organization's model.
